Biznik got started in May, 2005, when I got tired of trying to find a business networking group in Seattle that didn't suck. I threw together a website, invited a couple dozen of my friends, and less than a year later it's evolved into Biznik. The site currently is home to more than 600 members. Tools include extensive administration features such as content managers, meeting managers, user management, online calendar, rss feed publisher, and more. Users can maintain profiles, upload images, invite new members, give each other testimonials, make introductions, and much more. This is my first project that makes extensive use of Web 2.0 technologies such as syndication. Exciting stuff! If you're an independent professional with a bit of attitude, I welcome you to join us.
